How to Update Huawei IDEOS X2 U8500 to Gingerbread 2.3.2 Firmware

Procedure to update Gingerbread 2.3.2 on Huawei Ascend:

Step 1:- The first step is to put the adrenalin.zip file in the root of your Huawei handset, this you can do by simply transferring file from your PC to the phone via USD cable.

Step 2:- Now you have to root your phone using Z4 Root method. Doing this you need to download the Z4 root Application and also need to enable the USD debugging mode on your handset by moving to the Menu option, then tap on Setting, then Application, Development and have to check on the USB debugging option.

Step 3:-Third step is to launch Z4Root Applications and have to tap on the Root button. Doing this will restart the device, now run the Z4Root by going into the Application to see, if the rooting process was successful or not. When the process will be successful you will see new Superuser app.

Step 4:- As soon as you tap on Root, the device will restart. Now Run z4root by going into Applications to check if the rooting process was successful or not. If rooting was a successful then you will see Superuser app, else you need to follow the same procedure again to make the process successful.

Step 5:- Now as the device has been rooted successful you now have to proceed toward downloading the ROM Manager app from the new Android Market Place.

Step 6:- Once you install the ROM manager successfully, you need to now install CWM Recovery by opening the ROM Manager. Just tap on to the options of “Flash Clock Work Mod Recovery” for performing this operation. Doing this it will ask you to select the phone, tap on to the “Huawei Ascend”.

Step 7:- Once you are finished with Installing CWM and ROM is also backed up, you now have to move to the option of “install ROM from SD card”. Doing this it will ask you to select the file, which is nothing but the file which is Adrenaline.zip which you have already placed in the phone.

Step 8:-Now once the ROM is installed completely, proceed to the option of “FIX Permissions” after this your device will reboot and after rebooting, you will see your device with new Gingerbread 2.3.2 version.
